Paisley’. who conducted the first communion service after the church was organized, will be present and preach at both services and will oiflciate at the communion service which will follow the sermon at the evening service. This service is being held just forty years to a day from the time of the first mm. munion. The church was organized in July, 1896 and the first commun- ion service was held on October 25th thatsame year. At the time of its organization there were forty members. most 0f whom originated from Prince Edward Island. Today the membership is almost four hundred, with members of all nat- l i ionnlitles, though we still hold a monopoly on the "Down Eastcrs." The Stmday School keeps lnercas- l ing in numbers so that at the pre- f sent time there is need of‘ larger Sunday School quarters. although a few years ago the: basement was turned into a. very fine assembly I hall with several individual clasl rooms. A lot of land adjoining the church site has been purchased. on which it will soon bc necessary to build another addition.
