Mi; Mills. a veteran of World war II. was taken ill with I heart attack shortly before noon and died menambuluioeashewubeinl rushed to the hospital for emer- gency treatment. He left the Is- land during the war with the 8th aeige Battery and served for the duration. The late Mr. Mills is survived by his wife. the former Ethel Hill of Mayiield, and three children. Gordon, Heather and Patsy. An- other son, Barry predeceased him two years ago. The following broth- ere and sisters are left to mourn his passing: Frank and Gordon, Charlottetown: Ben. President Mrs. Keith Macxinnon presided. Roll call was answered by repeat- ing the Lord's Prayer in unison. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Miss Florence MacLean, and approved. The treasurer. Mis Anne Jenkins. presented a most satisfactory fin- e.ncial report. It was decided to purchase a brass plaque to be placed on the piano donated to the Cundall Hamel by the Alumnae. Association mi 1060. A donation of 525 was voted to be given to the nursing registory. Following the business session a melt educational and interesting lecture was delivered by Miss Fran- ces Johnstone, director of the Arts Centre on her recent trip to Europe.
