The Post Master General claims they won't acknowledge the Mail Couriers Association. Hove they not got as much right to form on association as the oflic- ers of the Railways? They have a brctherhood to look after their in- terests. . Our rural Mail men's case was iil worthy one, and one that should} have got the consideration of every member of Parliament. It was no salary grab like the judges, or members. They were just. asking for a living wage. They did not expect a two thousand dollar raise. They would have accepted anything in reason. Were they not as much entitled to a raise as the Post Master? No doubt Mr. Veniot will look out for u good fat salary for himself; that is how much he cares. There is a big difference in the‘ way things are run in the U. S. A.‘ and Canada. . In the U. S. A. the taxpayersi money is not mostly taken up by. the wreotliiy as in Canada.
