Reneil Garrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Garrett, East Baltic. has hen seriously ill in the Souris Hospital but is on the mend and in a short while will return to his home. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dandh and two children of Port I-fill were re- cent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nor- man Bruce and Mr. and Mrs. Kervmirsh H-lice South Lake. and they also visited with many of their friends in the east. Mr. Dsnsh was the station agent in Elmira and both made a hoot of friends who will always welcoimg them back. A miscellaneous shower was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs, Raymond Sweeney, Elmira, in honor of Miss Elinor McDonald, South Lake, whose marriage takes place shortly to Mr. George Cheverie, Elmira. She was the recipient of many lovely gifts and a sum of money. The many friends and migh- bours of Mrs. Mary Rohcrisnir. formerly of Kingsboro and East Baltic, and for the past years residing with her daughter in Maine, will be sorry to learn mar. she has been seriously ill in a -hospital in Maine.
