Ferguson has defeated Me- Intyre and his money bags, and has given the quietus to the Commercial Union fad which the Grit speakers and canvassers tried to work forall it was worth. The correct majority is 127, against a Grit one of 66 in February. This town gave Fergu- son 173 majority, while a: biggest was in Egansv ille, 75.
