She remained there a few hours and started out again to finish her trip, but it is not likely the can reach her des instion this time, as northeasterly winds setting in soon after she left, will block the way with ice, if there is any at all left in the gulf. The schooner Eddie, of Rustico, arrived at the same port on the day following. By means of these nozzles the pipeman can easily regulate the size of the stream and make it anywhere from the size of a straw to an inch and a quarter. They throw the largest stream fully higher than the old nozzles, and are much easier on the hose as the shut-off is more gradual.
