After his return from overseas he spent some time in Halifax and later in Lawrence, Mass., where he was employed. at Elec- tric Work. He has left us thé noble ex- ample of a truly Christian man and to his family a priceless heritage, the training and ex- ample of a good father. His wife predeceased him twelve years ago. Left to mourn are four sons and two daughters, namely: Vernon Northern Ontario, Elwood, Tor- onto, Sheldon and Gerard, Char- lottetown. Mrs. Ernest Doyle, Savage Harbour and Eileen at home. Also two grandchildren, two sisters, and two brothers.. The funeral was held on Mon- day morning, April 16, from his late residence to St. Dunstan's Basilica, where Requiem High Mass was eelebrated by Rev. Clarence Roche who also conduct- ed the service at the grave. Rev. Eric Robin, P.P. of Morell, was present in the sanctuary. The pall bearers were Ben Keefe, Ernest MacKay, William Gallant, Ivan Hughes, Eldon Me- Lean and Lloyd Phillips.
