The entertainment and social held on
the eveging of Feb. ith in Hamilton Hail

McDonald was called upon to auction on
a large number of tastefully trimmed
pies, which were keenly contested for by
the aspiring youths present, and amid
smiles and pleasant conversation were
'shared with the fair ladies who had
brought them. A spirit, of good-will and
orderliness pervadsu during the .entire
evening, and at a lata hour the large
iratherlng dispersed, all having apparently
enjoyed themselves fully, and carrying
