I Inspiring Ceremony Held As War Memorial Unveiled An inspiring unveiling and ded- jcation ceremony was witnessed by a large attendance at Memor- ,,;1 Square, Summerside yesterday where Mr. J. Watson MacNaught M, P, unveiled a memorial to 62 fallen comrades from the Sum- merslde area who gave their lives in world War Two and the Korean conflict. Mllor G. L. Monkley, pre- sident of the Summerside branch or the Canadian Legion presided. Major W. A. Currie. during the course of his address prior to the unveiling said "On ,an occasion such as this, one cannot but be conscious of his inadequacy to ex- press in words the feeling of his fello citizens. It is my honor and privilege today to give voice. on behalf of all the citizens, to their feelings of homage and gratitude on the occasion of the unveiling of this tablet on which is inscribed the names of those brave boys who went forth to battle and gave their lives in he cause of freedom.
