Steel of Canada and Dominion Bridge were main pointsof inter- est in the steel division with the former gaining 1-2 at 48 and the latter picked up 5-9 at 28 1-2. His death came with a shock to all. He was cheerful and hopeful that the operation would be succersful in restoring him to health once more. His sudden passing has left a feeling of deep sadness in the home and community where he was husband, kind and affectionate to children and grand children, all of whom will miss him very greatly. He was a. member in full commun- ion of the United Church of Can- ada at Cornwall and took an act- ive intelest in all that was done in dlurch and state. He was born at Prlncetown Road, and removed as a young man to Quinoey. Mass. Returning from U. S. A. he settled in Springfield and later removed to Cornwall. He lived on his farm on the Cornwall-East Wlltshire Road for 1c years. He leaves to mourn his sol-rowing widow and three daughters all of whom are married.
