Royally Celebrated
The G. W. V. A. sports and tea at
the Exhibition Grounds, Sumnierside.
Labor Day were a decided sudcess.
The day was an ideal one and n large
number attended. The Grand Stand
was filled and there was a large numb-
er in the centre 'field as well. The
Pendergast the famous athlete and
consisted of races, jumping and pitch-
ing heavy .weights. etc. Messrs. Jas.
Tanilyn and Leonard McNeill assisted
in the judging. The following is the
summary of the sports and the winn-
ers:-

and Ferno Craves came in first and on
racing lt over, again came in a tie.
H. McDonald came second. The race
was run in 11 seconds.
In the 2.20 yards dash, Time 25

bell, Charlottetown third,
