The death of Miss Eliza Murphy of China Point, occurred at the home of her brother, Jeremiah Murphy on Wednesday 11th inst. The deceased who has been in ill health for some time past was a most estimable lady esteemed and beloved by all who knew her. She was highly intelligent and of a kind disposition. She leaves to mourn their loss two brothers, Je- remiah and Edmund, both of China Point and three sisters, Mrs. John Murphy, South Shore; Mrs. James Dorsey, Charlottetown and Mrs. William Morrissey, Miilvlew. Her funeral took place to St. Joaohim's Church, Vernon River on Friday and the cortege was one of the largest seen in that neighborhood iior many years.
