Dan Mcleod, 40, believed here to be a former Canadian Mounted Police member, was in a critical condition with two bullet wounds. Police, who say the shooting apparently followed a drinking party, were told by Rains that McLeod tried to hijack him oi liquor. Mcixod accused Rains of attempting to rob him oi $500.
