A fair number of parents attended and visited all three class-rioms. _ _ They inspected the writing and drawings, heard reading 1n sev- eral grades as well as arithme- tic and several table and spelling matches. These were interspers- ed with several songs and recita- tions. " NEW ROOM . The visitors were much impres- sed with the new class-room, which has been opened recently. This class-room is quite modern. It is well lighted. The walls are painted a soft ivory, and the furnishings, including new maps, make pleasant surroundings for the pupils. This class room was opened in February. A much needed one as, up to that time, one hundred and eighteen pupils were crow- ded into-two class-rooms. The Ebbsfleet teachers are: Mrs. Harris Callaghan, Mrs. Rus- sell Callaghan and Miss Harriet Murphy.
