May 2'1 - (GP)- Early advances in oats and barley futures prices today were reduced or erased in subsequent trading on the Winnipeg Grain exchange. Fair demand by shippers and processors, and to some extent by locals in the nearby months, contributed to the early gains. However, the ad- vances brought in selling by com- mission houses and locals‘ and prices dropped of! during the mod- erately active session. May rye was offered down the two-cent llrnlt, while July dropped off the maximum iii-cent limit on offerings and commission house selling. October declined four cents.
