A grant of 815.000 a year for a period of five years from the Canadian Tuberculosis Assoclatlon,` and a sum of approximately $13,000 a. year from provincial and munic- ipal sources, will provide the financ- es necessary to carry out a benc- flciel health program, which will be still further aided by the opening ol the Provincial sanatoriurn in the coming summer. It is confidently expected that this intensive program of education and treatment will ef- . fectively control the insidious dis- ease of tuberculosis and promote the general health of our people. 5-The enrolment and attendance of pupils all our Public Schools show is satisfactory increase over the pre- ceding year, the percentage of et- teudance standing at the highest point recorded.
