In the Commons, this afternoon, Mr. Gladstone refused to allow Mr. Yorke further opportunity for discussing the Kil- mainham affair. In the Commons, to night, Mr. Glad- stone offered a motion, which was agreed to, that the term of snspension for a second offence be reduced from a month to a fortnight, and that for third offence be for a month, instead of the remainder | of the session. The Daily Telegraph's Vienna correspen- dent says : When De Giers left St. Peters- burg the Czar summoned General Ignatieff to an audience at Gatschina palace, which denotes that Ignatieff has already taken the wind out of Da Giers’ sails. The Daily News’ Berlin correspondent says : De Giers states the impressions he received at Varzin were most satisfactory. The condition of affairs in France, he says, were especially discussed. De Giers, at an audience with the Emperor, yesterday, in- formed him that Bismarck and he were agreed on all essential points. Beri, Nov. 21. De Giers had an audience yesterday with the Emperor and Prince Frederick Wil- liam. He afterward dined at the palace.
