Mrs. Murphy possessed a pleasing personality and by her strict hones- tr. eheeriulness and kindness ‘had endeared herself m m who had the pleasure o! meeting her. Even in her most tryinghours she always had that broad smile o1 welcome for every one who visited her. She alwayskept a keen interut in every- thing pertaining to church or com- tnunity-her patience, courage and kindness which she showed, all through her illness‘ will be a lesson long cherished by her devoted iam- ily of tour sons and four daughters who nursed ‘and cared for her ten- derly all those years. Anything that could be done for her to ease or lighten her pain was seeuredfor her and now in death they have the con- solation oi having no regrets for they did everything possible (or her. During her illness she was - tre- quently visited by her kind pastor, Rev. Joseph Rooney, who in her last hours administered to her the last rites o! the Holy Catholic Church and strengthened her soul tor thatlast long Journey oi.’ which she oitimes spoke and often during her severe pains was heard to say: Oh, it the Lord would only take me. Her funeral which was largely attended took place the 19th. upon the arrival of her son Charles and sister Kittie of Portland, Mainc, to the Little Flower Church, Morell, where High Mass of Requiem was sung by Rev. J. Rooney, P. P., after ward all that was mortal of a loving wife anrivmother was laid to rest in .the Little Flower Cemetery. The scr- ‘vice at the grave was conducted by 1 Rev. A. L.
