Maclean Residents -of Montague and vic- inity will regret to learn of the death yesterday morning at her home in Montague of Mrs. Daniel J. Macuaan in her 35th year after a lengthy illness. The late Mrs. Mactean. nee Lucy Irving. was born in Murray Harbour south. the daughter of the late Captain James Irving and Mrsulrvlng, She later came to Montague where she endeared her- self to the residents of the com- munity with her charm, her kind- ness, and her keen interest in community activities. In her pass- ing Montague has lost one of its finest ladies. who will he sadly missed by all. Surviving her are four daught- ers and one son: Ethel. Mrs. George Maclntyre. Montague: An- nl'e Mae and Clemmie at home. and Lucy. Mrs. William Vicker- son of Somerville. 'Mass.. and Charlottetown and Fred in Cal- gary, Her husband and a son pre- deceased her several years ago. The funeral will be held from the Montague Baptist Church, but arrangements were not completed last night. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family in their bereavement. FREDA MARGARET ELLIS The whole community was shock- ed and saddened to learn the angel of death had entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ellis Central Royalty, on the morning of December l2th. 1951. and called home their darling baby girl at the tender age of four months. She had been ill only a few days dur- ing which time she was tenderly nursed and cared for by her par- ents and aunts. Little Freda was a bright and lovable child and to know her was to love her Besides her grief stricken parents she leaves one lit- tle sister. Beverley. The funeral which was held Thursday afternoon.
