I WANNA ' REL WAIT FOR ME} 9‘. ‘ Pot Pourri ' Orientation is over, classes are moving in fir— " st gear. People are runn- ing around with the pro- verbial course change slips and everyone's wal- let is thinner. ‘ Speaking of wallets undeniably leads to the memory of registrationn day. Even with pre—regis- tration, there were still the same old mix-ups. This year's award for "The Fa- culty or Dicipline Which Caused the Greatest Hassle at Fall Registration for Students" is posthumously being preéented to the Faculty of Education. One Education student I was talking with on registra- tion day was dismally facing six course changes‘ 'which was kind of depres- sing due to the fact that, she had pre—registered in m__ Julv. The main problem is \ THE CADRE, was; SEPT. 17, 1974 Page 5 KAMPUS KONDERN * that practice teaching- this year is down to a minimum because of the lack of faculty in the department to supervise the students who practice teach. Also students in the faculty were not not- ified of courses that wo— uld not be offered to them. Just.ask an education st; udent if you find this attempted explanation confusing. INTRAMURALS Vince is back- with even a better intra— mural schedule for this ‘year. If you may be wond— ering what intramurals are all about and what is being offered and how you can get involved, just check the Orientation Han—~ dbook, or with Vince at the Athletic Department. Tom Corcoran and Shirley Clark are the head people and they are in the pro- cess of forming an intra- mural committee so as to get representatives from all students - resident r and day-students alike. - There are no prerequisites for participating in int- ramural sports — they're for fun, relaxation and of course, exercise. But the big thing is that its for everybody. It's a great time-for the body cannot stand the academics ALL THE TIME. Watch this week for the schedules. STUDENT UNION Our Student Union Committees will soon be in full swing. If you're interested in join- ing a committee, drop in— to the S.U. office to find out times and places of meetings.
