The committee was authorized to ex- pend. if necessary, funds of the Board to the amount of $50 in this wok. — Truro's Prosreriry.—The firat year of incorporation, 1876, the value of town pro- perty footed up $852,150; this year it amounted $1.500,000, an increase in 15 yrars of $644 850, an average yearly in- crease of $42.900. The greatest gain was in 1888, it being an increase of $557,149 over that of 1887. In 1880 there was a falling off from that of 1879 amounting to $4,700. The increase of 1891 over 1890 is $80,000. From the above figures it wi!l be aven that the town is progressing, netwith- standing the cry of those who say the coun- try is guing behind, DIED.
