Over two hun- ‘dred and fifty children received‘ fruit, candy, stockings or mits, many also received hats and hooks. In iuddition to these useful gifts to lthe children a very large number of Christmas dinners were sent to the homes of those who needed ithem. The Dispensary Officials also wish to thank all those who kindly contributed to the Dispen- |sary funds, and so helped make ithe usual Christmas treat the for Christmas took place at 5 pm. which consisted of Evensong and the singing oi carols. At 11.30 on Christmas Eve the Cathedral was crowded for a Choral Celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
