IIORIY L0 N THURSDAY A very sudden death occurred in this cily about 9 o'clock yester- day morning at the residence of Mr. Eris McLean, 95 Sydney St. Mrs. Artemas Clow, of North Wilt- ahlre, who had been visiting her daughter, ‘Mrs. McLean, was in the act of washing herself when she suddenly expired. Her daughter had just received a letter and was golngupstairs to tell her mother something of its contemts. When she got to the door-she found it hard to open and‘ on gaining eu- trance ivas shocked to flnd the pro lltrate form of her mother on the. floor lying partly against the door. With the assistance of another per- son she was lifted onto a sofa. A physician was summoned immed- iately and upon his arrival soon after pronounced the woman dead. Heart diaease was the cause of death. Tile and affair is deeply regrett- ed and lnucll sympathy is felt for those bereaved. Deceased was 59 Years of age.
