It was decided that there was much need for clothing and bedding, and that the work on an afghan should be soon completed. and. work started on a quilt. As an added item, roll call at the next. meeting was to be answered with toilet articles which are asked for the displaced persons who ore ar- riving in Canada. The hymns. “Rise Up. O Men of God", and "Where Cross the Crowded Ways of Life" were sung, and special prayer was made for suffering mankind. Then the Circle of Prayer ended this period. -Reports of the Missionary Rally which was held at Mount Stewart were given by Mrs. MscKenzia, Mrs. Maclilnnon and Mrs. John- ston. One thing that impressed the delegates was the address by Rev. Mr. Mercer, who said that temperance instructions are to be given in the schools.
