Simmons. died Thursday night. March 24. after a long illness at her home on River St., Alstead, New Hamp- shire. She was born in Bath on Jan. 27, 1880, a daughter of Elbridge and Carrie Steeray. She married her husband in Enfleld in 1000 and the couple moved to Alstead in 1910. He belonged originally to Kingston, P. E. I. and they fre- quently visited here, being back last summer.
