One of the officials ran to stop him, but the stranger knocked him down and made off with the money. A horse belonging to a resident has disappeared also. Simpson vs. Solomon Wadmen, for malicious destruction of property in St. Peter's Cemetery. The evidence showed that deferdint went to St. Peter's Cemetery on Oct, 19th with a shell, and finding the gate locked forcibly broke it open. Plaintiff stated that he had been put toa good deal of trouble and expense at various times by workmen and others break ing the lock on the gate of this cemetery; and us in this case the defendant had retused to replace the lock he felt it hie duty to prosecute.
