The building has been hauled to the opposite side of the road some hundred yards from its former position. It is now on a gradual slope of I. hill facing south. The building is to have a new hard- wood floor. new individual seats. and some change in the lighting system. The work is under the direction of Mr. A. O. Connor. That section of'roarl between i-lorry Dunn's store and William Graham's is now under repair. The machine work is completed as far as Gra- ham's corner. while the remainder is under construction. when the fills are attended to. this will be one of the best sections of coun- try roads. ' New lloom Added To Montague lilgli .. t The work of constructing the new room in the Montague High School has almost been complet- ed, except for the two new win- dows on the north side. The room, has been studded and covered with ten-test to provide warm, comfort- able quarters. with ample space for a large class, sufficient light- ing is provided by eight ceiling lights and the window space. The basement is now divided in- to three rooms, each opening to a corridor leading to the first floor. The corridor has also been finish- ed -with ten-test, so that the base- ment now provides a fine appear- ance. It is expected that the enrollment this year will exceed the aso enrollment of last year. but it is hoped that the new room will relieve the con- gestion ln some small degree.
