Sept. 20. — Buyer! fled for cover today on the Mon- treal Stock Exchange as the bears rallied their forces and kept up a greedy barrage that forced prices lower right from the opening. The utilities lost 1.3 at 59.3 and the lndustrials 1.5 at 57.5 whfe the two combined groups eas- ed 1.4 at 58.1. consolidated Smelters. a market leader, dropped 2 points to 168 wliile International Nickel fell ‘i4. at 29*’. and Canada Northern Power "i. at 20%.
