The mathematical puzzler came out of that scoreless tie last set- urday between Leafs and Chicago Black Hawks. What's.more. Broda gets the credit for the shutout, from the Toronto side. It happened that Thin Man Rol- lins was cut by a flying puck at 6:50 of the second period.'l"at Man Broda came on and, finlshed out the game. since Broda played 33 mlnuus and 10 seconds compared with Rollins' 26 minutes and 50 seconds. the statistics compilers at the N. H. L. awarded the shutout to Erode-he served a longer period of play. . B Have you sent in you: Log Book suggestions. time is short and we do need YOU 11919.
