     IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this 
     
     Island made and passed in the twenty-fourth year of the 
     
     reign of ller Majesty, Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act 
     
     relating to the Land Assessment at present imposed by 
     
     Law on the Town and Royalty of Princetown,” and also 
     
     of an Act made and passed in the twenty-seventh year of 
     
     the same reign, intituled “An Act to consolidate and amend 
     
     the several Laws imposing an Assessment on all Lands in 
     
     this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education.” Ido 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under- 
     
     mentioned Town Lot's, Water Lots, Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots, Islands, or parts of Islands. Townships, or parts of 
     
     Townships, in this Island, in arrear for the non-payment 
     
     of the several sums due and owing thereon to Her Ma- 
     
     jesty, under and by virtue of the above-mentioned Acts,

     POSTPONED SIIERIFF’S SALE. 
     
     IIE sale of all the right, title and leasehold interest of John 
     
     Trainer, in and to 80 acres of land. little more or less, herein- 
     
     after described, and heretofore levied on, at the suit of John Mac- 
     
     Donald, by virtuc of an Alias Fi. Fa. Execution, issued out of the 
     
     Supreme Court of Judicature, and heretofore advertised to be sold, 
     
     and several times postponed, will take place at the Court House 
     
     in Queen’s County, on Tuesday, the 3d day of April next, at the 
     
     hour of 12 o'clock, noon,—said Land is described as follows:—- 
     
     commencing on the West side of Monaghan Road at the southeast 
     
     corner of land formerly in possession of James Finnigan, thence 
     
     west 100 chains, thence south 8 chains, thence cast to the road; 
     
     and thence north to the place of commencement, containing by 
     
     estimation 80 acres, and is part of Lot or Township N0. 36, in 
     
     Queen‘s County,—amount of levy £67 15s 7d, together with inter- 
     
     est, Sheritf’s fees and incidental expenses.

     out of Her Majesty's Supreme Court of Judicature, at the 
     
     suit of William A. Johnstonc against Michael P. ltotchf‘ord and 
     
     Maria. Ann Rotch ford, I have taken and seized as the property of 
     
     the said Michael 1’. ltotchford and Maria. Ann Rotehford, All the 
     
     right, title and freehold interest of" the said Defendants, in and to 
     
     640 acres of land, with the buildings and appurtenances thereunto 
     
     belonging, situate on Township No. 17,:tnd known as “ Miscoucho 
     
     Point Farm” and “ Welling l’oint Farm” in Prince County, and I 
     
     do hereby give public notice, that I will, on the 22d day of March, 
     
     1866, at 12 o’clock, noon, at the Court, House in St Eleanor’s, in 
     
     the said County, set up and sell at public auction, the said proper- 
     
     ty,or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said 
     
     writ, being £56 85 10d, with interest toercon from the 29th Febru-
