The annual meeting of the J. R.
Dinnls Pedigree-id Foxes was held last,
night in the Board of Trade Rooms;
with a good representation of the`
shareholders present. Mr. J. R. Din-
nis, President, occupied' the chair,
while the place of their Secretary-
Treasurer and`Bl1siness Manager, Mr.
W. E. Cameron, B. A., was occupied
temporarily by Major Bartlett. The
following quotations from the Direc-
tors’ report indicate the excellent
standing of the Company:
The Company commenced opera
tions last autumn with 19 pairs Stand
ard Foxes To day we have un in
crease of 32 young foxes. 16 even
pairs The Company expects to have
breeding next year at least 31 pairs,
including old and young
On account of the European War,
your Directors have found it impos
sible to sell live foxes at satisfactory
prices, and they consider it in the
best interests of the Company to re
tain an the 1915 foxes for hreeaingl
purposes This will considerably re
duoe the capitalization per pair of the
Company’s foxes and should very ma
terially strengthen its position for
paying future dividends
The directors, after paying for the
current year's expenses, reported a
substantial balance on hand, quite
sufficient to carry them through the
