This is the Wind Symphony's only local performance this semsester, having already perfarmed two highly successful shows in Sydney and Antigonish, N.S. last month. _ The Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Karem Simon, will — perform a variety of entertaining works for wind band this Tiheday: - Among the highlights are an arrangement of “Jupiter” from Gustov — Holst’s well-known orchestral suite “The Planets”, music from Leonard Bernstein's “West Side Story”, and selected movements — from Percy Grainger’s “Lincolnshire Posy.” Additional pieces by — Persichetti and Kalinnkov will also be featured.
