     The Student Council shall 
     
     be divided into two sub- 
     
     councils, each with their

     A) The Business Council 
     
     will work directly under the 
     
     authority of the Treasurer- 
     
     Comptroller and under the 
     
     supervision of the Chairman. 
     
    

    
     The responsibility of the 
     
     Business Council shall be to 
     
     pass motions dealing with 
     
     the financial and physical 
     
     resources of the U.P.E.I.S.U. 
     
     In addition, it is to hold 
     
     responsibility for the aff- 
     
     airs of the Personnel Board 
     
     and the Campus Police. It is_ 
     
    
   
   
    
     also responsible for the spo—' 
     
    
   
   
    
     nsorship and nature of soci— 
     
     al events of the U.P.E.I.S.U. 
     
    

    
     B) The Academic Council 
     
     will work directly under the 
     
     authority’of the Vice—Presi— 
     
     dent-Communications Officer 
     
     and under the supervision of 
     
     the Chairman. 
     
    

    
     The responsibility of the 
     
     Acadmeic Council shall be to 
     
     provide direction for the 
     
     Student Union in all matters 
     
     of policy. They shall also 
     
     be responsible for all com—~ 
     
     mittees dealing with academ— 
     
     . ic matters. 
     
    
   
   
    
     .A position'on eitheerOu- 
     
     ncil requires a willingness 
     
     to work primarily with that
