most of the temperance people will

his honest convictions, however
greatly their judgment may ditler
from his own. There are some things
iii the bill that have called forth dif-
ferences of opinion even among ad-
vanced temperance men.
One of these is the right or search
for intoxicants kept in the home,
whether for medicinal or beverage
purposes. This is an important new
departure. Another was the incor-
poration into the act of certain fea-
tures of the Gothenburg system, by
which the state would, through a
commission" control the entire sale
of liquors for lawful purposes, but
not, as in the Gothenburg system.
