For the must part they do not deny God. On formal occasions they may even mention His name. But there is no aware- ness of their responsibility to God in their thought and action. This was the fertile soil in which Fas- cism, Nazism and Communism ger- minated. It is the soil which is rllowing Communism to make such strides today. I o o Secularism, which exlits God from human life and from the world He created is the cause too, of the evils which are rampant in our society - juvenile and parent- al delinquency, murder. divorce. and so on. since personal respon- sibility to God is not a moving force in the life of man, he has lost a sense of sin. This is a moral catastrophe. In vain shall we spend vast amounts or public monies for educat' -nail and recreational activ- ities if we do not give more thought to the source of these ills. It is a relatively easy thing to diagnose our malady, but what prescription can we offer as a ram- edy? Briefly it is this -- and it is nothing new. this is God's world and if we are to play a man's part in it. we must first get down on our knees - even during vacation time - and with humble hearts acknowledge God's place in His world. If all who believe in Clad would make that belief practical in their workaday lives. if they would see to it that their children were imbued with that same belief. we might begin to see a way out of the chaos that is around us.
