The newspapers have been making

vana, but this achievement has been
outdone in Prilncc Edward Island,;
where a woman gave birth to tivc
children in one day. The mother was
the wife of David Bell, laborer, of
Charlottetown. She was 22 years of
age, 3 small slight woman, weighing
only ninety pounds.
The children were born in June,
1892. She first gave birth to
four girls about two o'clock in the
afternoon, and two hours later, to ii
boy. They were nil perfectly develop-
ed childsen, weighing between two
and three pounds. They were all born
living, but unfortunately all difd be-
fore evening. They ware buried short-
ly afterwards.
