He remained home during the winter, returning to the west ill the spring of 1919 On the jour- ney out he contracted n severe cold, the effects of which kept him bedtast for three mouths. He 1919, but never‘ seemed to recover from the last attack although never known to murmer or-corn- plain, being of a kind, bright and cheerful disposition lu l I, the spring o! 1920 he was taken to the Dalton Sanatorium with high hopes of his resoratlon to health. He remained there until August but did not seem to improve. He was then transferred to St. Agatha. Quebec. All that loving care and medical skill could do was done, but Divine Providence willed other- wise. The loss by death of two members of the family in a limited time has cast a deep shsdowover the home q the loving mother be» lng laid to rest in the spring of 1919, but we can only bow in hum- ble submission to tho dispensation of Divine Provldeme, Who dooth all things well. The funeral took place on November 4th from the father's residence, where a largo number of people from far and near followed the remains to their inst resting place. interment took place at Hunter River Cemetery, Rev.
