For ‘over a year Vina had been in fail- ing health but for a time ‘hopes - were held our for her recovery and in August last she went west with ‘her sister Mrs. McKenzie with the hope that the sunny climate of i southern Alberta would restore her to health but God had willed it otherwise. She gradually sank till the end came and her gentle spirit took ifs flight to Him who gave it. Through all her sickness she was never heard io murmur nor complain but up to the cud ox- hiblted her usual cheerful spirit. She died trusting in her Redeemer. Writing to a friend she stated that she nevcr found so much comfort in prayer before. She was a mem- ber of tho Methodist church of Tryon.
