Colorful Pageant By Consolidated - School Pupils A very beautiful and colorful "Pageant of Christmas" was pre- sented by the pupils of Tryon Con- solidated School this year in place' of the usual variety type of enter- tainment. The pageant was pre- sented in the Tryon Baptist Haiti. The teachers, Mr. Gerald Mcquaid. and Miss Florrie Mabey. ore to be congratulated on their choice of programme, and on the presenta- tion of it. The stage was trimmed with Christmas greens to make a fitting background for tholmany colored costumes. and as the differ- ent groups of children took their places on the stage, it formed a picture long to be remembered.
