In the latter years of her life she endured considerable sick- -several years was confined to her bed but she bore her suffering with patience and cheerfulness. About one week pnio-r to her death she contracted pneumonia and was removed to the Kings County Hos- pital where she was rendered ev- ery care, but she gradually weak- She was a member of the Pet- er’s Road Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn one daughter, Mrs. Otto Irving of Peter's Road, and one son Samuel of Alliston with whom she made her home since her health failed her; one grand- tenderly reared, of Saint J-o‘h-n, N.B. also eleven other grandchild-ren, 24 great grandchildren, and" one sis- ter, Mrs. Margaret Mansfield of _Haverhill, Mass. Two sons and one daughter predeceased her.
