arrival from Montreal for this season.

this was hoisted up. In the engine
room 19 hours hard work only resulted
in getting off the reversing wheel, every

hours the work was unceaslng and Cap-
tain La Chance speaks in high terms of
the assistance rendered by Messrs. Henry
and Crosbie who were passengers. They

board. When the crank shaft was re-`
placed it was discovered that the main "
shaft was bent so that half speed was.
