This bird was mistakenly identified in the paper as a Chihuahuan Raven, a Magnificent Frigate Bird, and a Black Billed Magpie. A report was received a week later of a similarly marked bird at the East Point Lighthouse (SC via GM). While researching the sighting Ray Cooke was advised by Stu Tingley that a similarly marked bird was reported in New Brunswick but had not been checked as it was thought to be an albino raven. In mid-September, a letter and photograph from Marie Paquette and Gordon Grant identified the Pied Crow at Cedar Dunes on August 15-16th; Boreal Chickadee - 1 at Emyvale on Sept 25 (JWa); Black-capped Chickadee - pair feeding 5 young in cavity in red maple located 3.27 m off ground in branch stub created hole (SM); Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 1 at North Cape on Aug. 29 (RC); Cedar Waxwing - flock of 20 at Dromore in cutover on Sept. 15 (JDM); Philadelphia Vireo - 1 at Macphail's Woods on May 23 (DW); Canada Warbler - 1 at Point Prim on May 29 (DW) Indigo Bunting - male and female at East Point in mid-June (FC reported by -13—
