     aid by virtue of the Act of Twenty-third 
     
     Victoria, Chapter sixteen, intituled “ An 
     
     Act relating to the recovery of Small Debts, 
     
     and to repeal certain Acts therein mentioned,” 
     
     and of all Acts in addition to or in amendment 
     
     thereof, as fully to all intents and purposes as 
     
     if the same had been established under the 
     
     said recited Acts, or either of them. 
     
    
     III. From and after the passing of this Act 
     
     it shall be lawful for the Lieutenant Governor 
     
     in Council, from time to time, and at such time 
     
     or times as he shall deem ﬁt, to remove from 
     
     cﬁice all or any one of the Commissioners of 
     
     all. or any one or more of the Small Debt 
     
     Courts in this Island, new or hereafter estab- 
     
     lished, and to appoint a Commissioner or Com— 
     
     missioners in the place of him or them so rcmov~ 
     
     ed,and from time in time to ﬁll up any vacancy or 
     
     \':r..'n:‘.cies which may at any time or times here- 
     
     after occur, by reason of death or resignation, in 
     
     the eflice of any Commissioner or Commission- 
     
     ers of Small Debts in this Island ; and so soon 
     
     as a new Commissioner or new Commissioners 
     
     shall have been so appointed by the Lieutenant 
     
     Governor in Council, under and by virtue of 
     
     this Act, the powers and authority of the Com- 
     
     missioner or Commissioners in whose place or 
     
     places such new Commissioner or Commissioners 
     
     shall be appointed shall cease and determine, 
     
     and such last named Commissioner or Commis- 
     
     sioners shal l have and exercise the same powers 
     
     and authority as if appointed unde' and by 
     
     virtue of the said recited Act of the Twenty~ 
     
     hird Victoria, Chapter sixteen, or any Act or 
     
     Acts in amendment thereof. 
     
    
     IV. All and every the powers and authorities, 
     
     provisions, rules, directions, penalties, clauses, 
     
     matters and things in the said recited Act of 
     
     the 'I‘wenty-third Victoria, Chapter sixteen, or 
     
     of any Act or Acts in amendment thereof (ex- 
     
     cept in so far as the same may be inconsistent 
     
     with this Act), shall severally relate and ap~ 
     
     ply to, and be observed, practised and enforced 
     
     by the said Commissioners to be appointed 
     
     under this Act, as fully and effectually as if 
     
     the same powers and authorities, penalties, 
     
     clauses, matters and things were particularly 
     
     repeated and re-enacted in the body of this 
     
     Act, with reference to the said Commissioners. 
     
    
     V. This Act shall be construed as one Act 
     
     with the said recited Act of the Twenty-third

     gET'HEREAS the several Acts hereinafter 
     
      mentioned will shortly expire, and it is

     it therefore enacted by the Lieutenant Govern- 
     
     or, Council and Assembly, as follovsz—The 
     
     Act of the Eighth Victoria, Chapter Twenty, 
     
     intituled “ An Act for the regulation of the 
     
     Mackerel Fishery.” The Act of the Four- 
     
     teenth Victoria, Chapter Fifteen, intituled 
     
     “ An Act to incorpo ‘ate certain persons Trus- 
     
     tees of the Princetown Royalty Church,” save 
     
     and except, and in so far as the same is re- 
     
     pealed, altered or amended by the Act of the 
     
     Twentieth Victoria, Chapter Nine, intituled 
     
     An “Act to continue and amend the Prince- 
     
     town Royalty Church Incorporation, and to 
     
     repeal a certain Act therein mentionet.” 
     
     The Act of the Fifteenth Victoria, Chapter 
     
     Thirty-three, intituled “An Act authoriz- 
     
     ing the Harbor and Ballast Masters of the 
     
     various Harbors and Rivers in this Island to 
     
     superintend the laying down, erection and 
     
     maintenance of Buoys and Beacons therein.” 
     
     The Act of the Fifteenth Victoria, Chapter 
     
     Firty-one, intituled “ An Act to prevent 
     
     the going at large of Swine and Geese, at all 
     
     seasons, and Horses at certain seasons of the 
     
     year, in the Squares and Streets of George— 
     
     town,” save and except, and so far as the same 
     
     is repealed, altered and amended by the Act of 
     
     the Twentieth Victoria, Chapter Twelve, in- 
     
     tituled “ An Act to continue and amend the 
     
     Act to prevent Horses, Swine and Geese from 
     
     going at large in Georgetown.” The Act of 
     
     the Nineteenth Victoria, Chapter Fourteen, 
     
     intituled “ An Act to repeal the Act relating 
     
     to Light and Anchorage Duties, and to make 
     
     other provisions in lieu thereof.” The Act 
     
     of the Twenty-fifth Victoria, Chapter Seven- 
     
     teen, intituled “An Act to incorporate the 
     
     Minister and Trustees of the Presbyterian 
     
     Church at Bedeque,” be, and the same are 
     
     hereby severally continued for ten years from
