We had predicted that a large number M me smaller exhibitors would par- gieipate. They have. and the compe- tition has been' of'gi-eat encourag- ment to them ,and to the industry |11 general. ' Some of the exhibitors this year hnvb had to put up with some little ir- ritatlons. butthis could only be ex- pected in the initial attempt. under wnditions where available buildings had io be equipped as well as pos- ;ible to handle the situation. The' ex- iiibltors however, seem to be satis- fied. and very little criticism is heard. The show from first to last has been characterised by the best of good feeling, good fellowship, good ,poi-tsmansliip, and unbounded en- thusiasm. I also believe that the de- mb of the show are being carried but by the Board of Directors' with u courtesy and efficiency that appeal to the exhibitor and visitor alike. This effort that was started in more or less of an atmosphere of fear and trembling, has developed strength with the passing days. and .bag now culminated in what is un- doubtedly, one of the most. if not thc most successful riox Exhibition that this world has ever known. its success encourages the Fox Breed- os s permanent institution. and to declare the Charlottetown Fox Show to be the worlds most important Fox Exhibition, at which the worid's standards and the worid's cham- pions may be declared. _ ers of this province to establish ii M Bal Made History.- Tlie 1929 Fox Show has untloubt-. ccliy made hlstoi-y'_in the fox inclus- try, and should mark a step of tre- mendous importance in the establish- ment of fox supremacy in this. the homo oi' the industry, and in the extension of this branch of the live stock kingdom the world over. There are wonderful possibilities ahead for this institution, and it is to be hoperi` that every fox breeder in Prince Ed- iiard Island will contribute to its Se aucoesa and its value, as a mediilm` through which our Maritime produc- ers. and the purchasers of the world may conduct business with profit nrid satisfaction to both.
