Good year for bobolinks

     There is a small field on our farm (approx. 4 acres) 
     
     which we do not use anymore in our strawberry or raspberry 
     
     rotation, though there are still some raspberry canes on 
     
     one side separating this field from the one where we had 
     
    
   
   
    
     our strawberry crop this year. 
     
    

    
     We have used the small 
     
     buckwheat as forage for our 
     
     few years ago we allowed it 
     
     bobolinks began using it as

     CONTEST RULES 
     
    
   
   
    
     1. Entries may be from any 0r all of the four categories: 
     
     a) Autumn. D) Winter, c) Spring. and d) Summer. 
     
     Each entry must be photographed in one of 
     
     RE.I.‘s six Demonstration Woodlots. 
     
    
   
   
    
     2. Entries may be color slides (35 mm or 21/4”) or 
     
     photographs (at least 5" x 7" unmounted). Each 
     
     entry must be accompanied by: a) photo location 
     
     (name of the Demonstration Woodlot). b) 
     
     category. and c) photographer's name, address 
     
     and telephone number; and must be mailed to 
     
     the Manager, Forest Extension. 
     
    
   
   
    
     . All non-winning entries will be returned to entrants or 
     
    
   
   
    
     purchased by the Forestry Branch. 
     
    
   
   
    
     . Contest is open to Canadian residents only. Entrants 
     
    
   
   
    
     must be amateur photographers. Employees of
