An occupant of the car was taken to the King's Coun- ty Hospital and treated for a bad out. He was released later. Neither of the drivers were injured. -....'ACCIDENT AT NEW PERTH -On Saturday morning on auto accident occurred at New Perth when the driver of 11 Charlotte- town car in attempting : to avoid cattle at a. cattle crossing swerved off the road. shot over the em- bankment snd crashed into a tree. The car was very badly damaged but the three occupants suffered only superficial cuts and bruises Hospital treatment was not neces- sary. Top award for communities went to Breadalbane. second to Hunter River and third to Brack- ley, all three making extensive improvements. Breadalbane painted its attractive new library building. graded, seeded a new lawn, erected a fence and flagpole and planted flowers. One church was completely repainted, another had a new roof added. The appearance of the cemetery was greatly improved. and several private homes were paint- ed or repainted. Hunter River community repainted the library building, fenced the area, planted shrubs and developed a lawn. A nearby church was painted and repaired. another church put in a new lawn and planted flowers, adding much to an already very attractive community. In Brackley. the school and surroundings were much improved and private dwell- ings kept to this community's high standard. In cemetery improvement Bru- denell did an outstanding job in beautifying an old and large cem- etery area. Lawns were perfectly kept, the cemetery fences painted, stones straightened, trees planted.
