Margaret McKenzie, of Cavendish, on the J5th inst., when the marriage of ser voungest daughter Matilda, to William A. Hou-ton, of North Rustico, was celebrated. The bride, who was given away by ber brother, Theophilus McKenzie was attired in a dress of cream cashmere with chiffon and satin trimmings, and carried an elaborate boquet. She was | attended by her niece, Miss Lilla MeLure, of Dundas, who wore a pretty dress of pale blue cashmere with trimmings to metch. The groom ably supported by Mr. Frank Churchill, one of Charlotte town's most popular young men. Although the weather proved rather unfavorable the house was filled with guest+, and the tables gruaned under the weight of good things. The house was tastefully decorated with spruce in honor of the occasion, and judging by the many valuable presents both parties are held in high estimation not only by their many country friends but also by those who drove all the way from Charlottetown to witpess the ceremony. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Mr. Robertson, of Cavendish.
