In picturesque uuiiorms, in which

few weeks ago. The parade, says an
evening journal, is eloquent testimony
to the excellent progress that is being
made by the First Aid Nursing Yeo-
manry Corps, which has been formed
to render, whenever the need for their
services arises, tirst aid on the bottle-
A voluntary and as yet an unotlicial
organization, it is composed of wo.
men who are rapidly making them-
selves proiicient not only in iii-st aid
and riding, but also in veterinary
work and in other services in which
they may be called upon to act.
There are lieutenants of the corps
and scrgeunts, corporals and troop-
ers, among the odicers being Lady
Erucstine Hunt, eldest _daughter of
the l\'lari|uis of Ailesbury.
The riding lessons are given by
cavalry experts at the riding school
of the "Blues" There the nurses
jump the brush hurdles singly and in
pairs and perlorm with no little dash
all thc evolutious oi the ravalry
drill.
RUB THE WELL EYE.
Nine persons out of every ten, with
a Cinder or any other iorei;:u sub-
