The Senior Class Executive wants to welcome you to your final year at U.P.E.I.! Although first semester is almost over, the fun for 1994 will soon begin. My name is Erin Connors, and I have been elected as your Senior Class President this year. Other mem- bers of the committee are Michelle MacCallum- Vice President, Stan Livingstone-Treasurer, and Treena Smith-Secretary. As some of you know, a General Senior Class Meeting was held earlier in November. We talked about upcoming fundraisers and future events for Senior Week. Beginning in January of 1994, we’ll be selling 50/50 tickets Jam Night at the Barn. So everyone can come on down to win some big dough (besides sup- porting your Senior Class of 1994). If anyone is interested in helping out, give any of us a call at the Barn at 566-0530, or just tell us in person- we are usually on campus most of the time (Stan, Michelle and Treena in the pit). If you haven’t seen the posters that are up, Heckbert Studio will be on Campus the last two weeks in January. You can make an appoint- ment down at the Student Union office in the Barn. Applications for degrees can be picked up at the Registrar’s Office anytime now. The deadline for the application and the fifty dollar graduation feeis March 15, 1994. Don’t forget! ) A Senior package will be sent out to all seniors in early January. It will contain plans for Senior Week and other events, so if you missed the General meeting, now’s your chance to catch up. Your executive has gotten off to a great start so far, so that we'll all have a great Senior Week, and a great year in 1994. If you have any ideas, let us know. We'll be glad to get your input.
