ISLANC wane TRUST MEMBEFSFIF 12:): The Island Nature Trust was formed in the fall of 1979; a group of people who believe in the protection and management of natural areas on Prince Edward Island. The Trust's main project until now has been the purchasing of land around Deroche Point to ensure the protection of the sand dunes and wetlands in the area. . A major membership drive is being held the third week of February in hopes of involving m0re people in the Trust and its aims. ‘Various events such as walks and displays will be held during the week with a Ceileidh Thursday, February 19 as a grand finale. ' If the Trust has appeared unorganized in the past year it is because a of work is being done by only a few people. Let's get more people involved so that our goals may be realized.
